28 January 20263 min readBy lugotv Team

Installing IPTV on your Amazon Firestick is easier than you think. This step-by-step guide walks you through the entire process in under 10 minutes.

What You'll Need

  • Amazon Firestick (any model — Lite, 4K, 4K Max, Fire TV Cube)
  • A lugotv subscription (get one here)
  • Your Firestick connected to your TV and the internet

Step 1: Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Before installing lugotv, you need to allow your Firestick to install apps from outside the Amazon App Store.

  1. Go to Settings on your Firestick home screen
  2. Select My Fire TV (or Device on older models)
  3. Tap Developer Options
  4. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources
  5. Confirm by selecting Turn On

Step 2: Install the Downloader App

The Downloader app lets you install apps directly from a URL.

  1. Press the Home button and go to Find > Search
  2. Search for "Downloader"
  3. Select the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews
  4. Click Download and wait for it to install

Step 3: Download lugotv

  1. Open the Downloader app
  2. In the URL field, type: lugotv.com/download
  3. Press Go and wait for the download to complete
  4. When prompted, tap Install
  5. Once installed, tap Open

Step 4: Log In to Your Account

  1. Open the lugotv app
  2. Enter the email and password you used when subscribing
  3. Tap Sign In
  4. You'll be taken straight to the channel list

Step 5: Start Watching

Browse through 36,000+ live channels, search for your favourite shows, or explore the VOD library. Use your Firestick remote to navigate.

Tips for the Best Experience

  • Use a wired connection if possible — connect your router to your TV via ethernet for the most stable stream
  • Clear the cache if you notice sluggishness: Settings > Applications > lugotv > Clear Cache
  • Restart your Firestick once a week to keep performance smooth
  • Use a VPN if you travel outside the UK and want to keep accessing your content

Troubleshooting

App won't install? Make sure you've enabled Apps from Unknown Sources (Step 1).

Buffering on live channels? Check your internet speed — you need at least 10 Mbps. Try switching to a wired connection or moving closer to your router.

Can't log in? Double-check your email and password. If you've forgotten your password, use the reset link on the login screen.
