Choose an Apple screen for LugoTV.
Check tvOS or iOS support, use the supplied service login and distinguish a mobile setup from a second simultaneous screen.
From choosing the app to checking playback.
- 1
Choose the platform before the player
An Apple TV uses tvOS; an iPhone or iPad has a different app environment. Check the App Store’s supported-device information. For example, iPlayTV’s listing is for Apple TV. Do not pay for an app solely because somebody demonstrated it on a different Apple device.
- 2
Match the player to the login you received
Select an app that supports your supplied account method. Separate server, username and password fields usually indicate an Xtream Codes form. An M3U option needs the full private playlist address. A local name for the playlist is useful, but it is not a substitute for the actual username.
- 3
Check text entry before saving
Copy without extra spaces and preserve the server’s protocol and any port. If you move text between devices, check it on the destination before submitting. Keep service credentials separate from your Apple ID and LugoTV website password. Do not include a full private link in public screenshots or support-forum posts.
- 4
Test the controls you will use daily
Wait for the first catalogue import, then test the remote or touch controls, sound and available subtitles. Check an on-demand item as well as a live channel. If you want to cast from a phone, verify the app’s current casting support: sending video to a TV and playing directly in a tvOS app are different arrangements.
A phone can change networks while you watch
Moving from home Wi-Fi to mobile data changes the connection and may use your mobile allowance. Record which network was active if playback changed. A successful test on one network does not establish that every connection will behave the same way.
Decide who will watch at the same time
Adding your account to an iPad does not automatically add a simultaneous connection. If two people want separate viewing, check the plan’s allowance or an eligible second-screen offer before relying on the same login. A separate subscription gives a different service login when activated.
Questions for this setup
Will my Apple TV app work on iPhone too?
Only if its App Store compatibility information says so. Check the exact platform and purchase terms.
Does AirPlay bypass connection limits?
Do not treat a casting feature as permission for extra simultaneous streams. Confirm the service allowance for your intended setup.
Check the publisher’s current information
